My manager told me today that our boss said I was unreliable for the amount of time I take off. I requested time off in January to go visit family/ go to a concert in April. I was gone for a little over a week. Also they had months in advance to plan my coverage. I took off one extra day during my weekend(my weekend is Friday & Saturday) because I was officiating a wedding and needed that Sunday to drive home. Hearing that honestly stung, because I have done so much for that company. I rarely call in sick, I have come into work even though I was vomiting from bad period cramps, I have covered for people so many times who just won’t show up/ show up over FORTY MINUTES LATE, i have come in on days off to cover for people, I have stayed late to cover for people, earlier this year I crashed my car spinning out on the snow and still went into work that day. And I’m unreliable? Anyway, I’m giving my notice and finding another job. I feel so incredibly disrespected
