My work changed my position because they’re short staffed

I work for a large bicycle company. Think “Quantity Bicycle Products”. I’m this company I started a few years ago in late 2020 to work on the shipping and receiving floor. What was meant to be a temporary gig turned out to be ok for the time being and I kept moving up fairly quickly. First to inventory control, then to hand building wheels. I’m the year I’ve been up here I’ve been passed up for a promotion, denied a raise, and not received any bonuses. All of this is allegedly because the company isn’t doing so hot. All of the VP’s had their earnings removed from our shared database of salaries to avoid scrutiny. Well the latest round of bullshit is that they got these “co operative robots” to help the distribution center workers. Except they’re incredibly non user friendly and they slow work down. They got these robots to remove the need to hire more people or provide cost of living raises for anyone on site.

Well because of the slow down due to the robots and them only hiring temp workers (who make more than anyone on my team), me and my coworkers in my department have to spend 1/2 of our week cleaning up THEIR mess for LESS pay!

I’ve contacted HR to see if this is legal, and if it isn’t I’m filing a complaint with the NLRB. Our company stoutly prides itself on being “B Corp Certified” which largely means they want to look good, not BE good.

Anyone have any advice? I am currently looking elsewhere but so far no luck.
