I found out that my employer funded politicians to have worker rights restricted.

So, uh. These are some of the plans for a program for the new administration in my country, Finland: • Employers do not have to pay for the first day of your sick leave. • Employers may keep workers on temporary 1 year contracts, indefinitely. • Employers may fire workers for “a valid reason” (yeah, it really is THAT vague) • Right to strike in solidarity and politically, will be restricted. • A penalty fee of 200 euros is imposed on the employee for participating in an illegal strike. (And for most of us minimum wage earners, that's a lot of money) • Local bargaining will be expanded beyond collective union agreements and the shop steward (union rep.) system. … I hope to gods this is just local tabloids exaggerating things, but I fear it's not. Thank you sooooo much to my fellow finns who voted to make this bullshit…
