The system will win – as it always has – in the absence of a general strike

It's always encouraging to see any number of the American proletariat highlighting the abuses of the bourgeoisie. Posts on this sub and on other platforms are a good sign. BUT… At the risk of diminishing these positive signs, I gotta tell yas, I see a sign up ahead that says, “no farther.” Those who adjust the dials on this system know full well those jobs we all point to while yelling WTF will – come hell or high water – get done. Starvation and homelessness have always been effective levers, and that has not changed. As long as the barely satisfied are unwilling to risk what they have to help the desperate, the fine tuning currently underway will achieve corporate goals, and they'll do so in short order. A general strike, in which sufficient numbers of the employed cease all economic activity, namely working, to strengthen the bargaining position of those whose rectal health is under brutal attack is the only way. ONLY WAY. ONLY. WAY. This is the way. That's bad news. Keep bitching, but be ready to keep one hand on your back (your way lower back).
