Has anyone been able to convince their company to let everyone stay fully remote after a hybrid return to office was announced?

Just wondering if mine and my coworkers' attempts to remain fully remote are even going to have a chance. Mostly everyone is upset with this change, of course, and many of us will have an hour commute or more. Mine will be over an hour and a half. We were told that remote was here to stay, so many of us moved further away from work (office is in a very hcol area). They want us to talk about what we think of the change but it seems like it's just them wanting to portray the illusion that they care, when the decision is probably final and not up for negotiation. Just curious though if anyone's been able to sway their employer to stay fully remote!
