Hey everyone. I’m in rural TN and working a service job (fast food, $8.50/hr) and in the month I’ve been working, we’ve had two mandatory, unpaid meetings. One I couldn’t attend due to religious reasons, and my friend told me the manager was making rude remarks about my lack of attendance. Since it’s a rural fast food franchise, pretty much nothing is in writing, but I do have pictures of the notes they left saying “Store Meeting on x date,” and I’m guessing the store’s time stamp logs count? Just curious if anyone has ever reported something like this to the TN labor dept and has any advice or recommendations, TIA
