I just need to vent. I have been at my job for almost two years, and I take my job very seriously and my job is a major part of my life (I’m a preschool assistant). They wouldn’t give me a full time position after my upcoming college graduation and told me I could just stay on as part-time. And then literally didn’t care at all when I announced I was leaving in a month. It’s just so draining to put years into a job and think you’re important and they just automatically move on and don’t give it a second thought. I know I should’ve expected this but it just feels like such a disappointment.
