Hi all, I need help my friend and me grew up from poor to what you would call upper middle class. But I am worried that my friend has begun getting very conservative and problematic. I try to explain to him about college students and debt and forgiveness. When I talk to him about increasing the minimum wage he always has a stat to prove me wrong. he is licensed in finance. What I need is a stat/ link to sources that can confirm a minimum wage increase would help the economy instead of keeping it the same and maybe some talking points. He believes it would just balance out the economy and we would be back to square one. Idk how to talk to him. On the one hand, is very smart and knowledgeable about the economy but believes in “poverty wages”, but on the other hand idk if he is wrong because at one point early on we were working at mc Donalds and Bagger for grocery stores and etc you know crap jobs. Any help or talking points or any links to great stats that would wake up my friend would be great
