Kind of a vent but very work specific and honestly feels like targeted bs. Basically there has been an open position in management for the past few months which hasn't been filled. One that I know I'm the best fit for, and have been told that by other management. About a week ago I was talking with one of my managers and they mentioned how in the last 3 meetings my name had been brought up for a promotion but the lead manager rejected me all 3 times. They said it was because I was dating someone we work with, which yeah could make since IF THE MANAGER WASN'T DATING A FORMER EMPLOYEE THEY PROMOTED TO MANAGEMENT. Oh yeah also half of the current management is also dating other employees some of them other management in that meeting.
Honestly that shit was my last straw I was waiting for the promotion to see how I finically felt after that, but also wanted to use it on the resume to be like hey I was management at my last job. Besides all the other overworked underpaid always going the extra mile, etc etc. I'm burnt out poor and fucking my health up for a job that doesn't give a shit about me.
