Questions for boss during raise conversations

Hi! I was hoping to get some coaching for my (first) yearly review coming up. I work as a technician in multi-specialty ophthalmology office. I entered as entry level, I only had 2 years of optometry (just vision exams vs medical issues) experience and was awe struck by the $5 bump from a box office to such a high end office and didn't think to negotiate at the time. I'm expecting to be offered 50 whole cents extra an hour and I have half an ovary to tell my boss to keep such a disrespectful offer. I live in Florida (Tampa Bay) and our minimum wage is on schedule to go to $15 within the next couple of years (entry level techs get paid $17) so I know I want to ask what steps the company is going to take to ensure I'm not making only $2-3 more than minimum…

I live in Florida (Tampa Bay) and our minimum wage is on schedule to go to $15 within the next couple of years (entry level techs get paid $17) so I know I want to ask what steps the company is going to take to ensure I'm not making only $2-3 more than minimum as a certified professional but I know there are more questions and statements to make to push back and make my argument. I'm just not a confronting person and would greatly appreciate any help!
