Last year I quit my job because my boss threatened me and said he would kill me and beat me up the next time he saw me. All this because I said I was unhappy with the position. I wanted to peacefully leave but no, he had to put on a show. I immediately quit and left on the spot.
Spent a good part of a year living off savings. Wasn't able to find something that fits me until a couple months ago. It was a brand new company, I helped moving things along for 2 months and then they hired me shortly after opening.
Some acquaintances warned me the management was a bunch of lunatics but so far so good so I kept working and everything was going well until this happened: I asked for 1 afternoon off given that the next day was a national holiday (I had flexible working hours). Not only they screamed at me for asking the afternoon but also expected/demanded me to work the holiday. Keep in mind I was giving the house overtime every single day. I had amounted around 25 hours on overtime in only 5 weeks.
Long story short, I left, they didn't pay me the last month of work so I had to bring my lawyer into it.
So I'm broke and have no fucking idea what I'm supposed to go with my life. Two nasty situations so close together, I could barely handle the first, I'm not being able to handle the second time.
