Am I being payed enough?

Hi. So, I work as Data Entry Operator for $11/hour in the lovely state of Texas. My company handles medical insurances forms from Mexico, Canada and the U.S. All I do is input information from a scanned documents to the computer and it goes from pre data, pre data QA, post data to post data QA. Each document set holds from 1 to 100 documents and depending on the documents, it will lead you to where you need to fill it out. Let me tell you, it is exhausting. 8 hours of sitting on computer, staring at a screen, wrists hurting because you need to maintain a steady pace without pausing. Breaks? 10 min. Lunch? 30 min Sure, the offer overtime but its not enough for 11/hr. Minus taxes and such, it comes down to a (at minimum $820) I heard from a coworker that two years ago, it was…

I heard from a coworker that two years ago, it was $9.
Meaning, to get stable paycheck, I would have to come in everyday, 8 to 9 hours for $11.
How is this a livable wage!?
