I had two interviews in two days. Both jobs posted on Indeed.
I applied to the first one which was posted as a position in my town. Home health care. It had the exact hours listed. When I drove to the interview, they sat me down and said the job was actually 40 miles the other direction and that it was overnight with Dementia patients (not listed).
I told them I am not interested and that this was a misleading posting. I reported the listing on Indeed for wrong location and wrong hours.
This morning was my second interview. Almost the same thing happened. Front desk position. Hours are 2pm to 10pm in the post. When I go to this interview, they tell me it's actually more of a security position and the hours are 10pm to 6am. The pay rate is listed as $15 an hour when they tell me in person it's $13.
I walk outside and again report the job posting. Do these employers think I (we) will just fold and laugh saying “sure I'll take a pay cut, you seem super nice and I drove all this way so why not take your misleading job?”.
They're really pissing me off, wasting my time and resources, and I'm sick of it. I show up to these interviews in a business suit and try to put on a professional performance for a bunch of lying clowns.
