Where i live to rent a 1 bedroom the average is around $2000 and that’s on the low end. I was looking at how much australian rent averages and it’s like avg $550 AUD???? and my job (which is is pretty high demand) gets fucking SALARY pay in AUS most of the time instead of $25 an hour then if im lucky and loyal to the company for a few years i get a few more bucks. when i can easily be getting 70k a year minimum if i just moved all the way across the world. I just want to live where i grew up, why is it so hard
