Probably the best path would be to push for more laws and benefits for workers instead of higher wage or corporate tax.
Only a few might agree but hear me out:
If the wages increase and the tax for big corporations increases with let's say a 10% then the price for products and services will increase by at least 15% and knowing how greed the corporations are this will not end up well resulting in an entrenched inflation for corporations to profit (again) from and the people left even more poor in the long run. I see this as a vicious circle and not the best path to proceed in the long run.
I bet there are a lot of worker laws and benefits that can be added (I'm familiar with the ones from Europe where I live) which could make the workplace bearable instead of the path described above that will make corporations richer.
