I know legally (thanks to our restaurant unions) where i’m from i’m not obliged to acknowledge the last minute change whether it’s 30 minute or 30 second start time difference. And they should ask first not assume I will see it in the app.
i’m wondering if I should:
1) ignore it and arrive at the original scheduled time.
2) text the boss and tell them to ask me first. We’re quite friendly and i’m okay telling with telling him if he fucks around he will find out I stick to original schedule.
3) Call him directly.
EDIT: Another thing to consider, is that when you sign in “late” on the computer you are free to type as reason why.
