Im trying so hard to just stay positive right now. I work in pickup at fred meyer (kroger store) and i work in the worst department in the store. Were the lowest paid in the store, but we have the most pressure, forced to work harder and faster than anyone else (besides maybe checkout people).
I put in an application to move to a different department this week, and today, right before i was going to clock out, my manager gave me a verbal warning to tell me i was going too slow bc i was talking to people. She literally printed out all my runs for the day and added up all the times between runs to tell me I'd wasted an hour of time between runs and asked me why there were 20 minutes between runs when id gone to the bathroom after my break. I dont understand what makes them think that threatening to not let me transfer or to fire me is gonna motivate me to do what they want me to.
