So I just got interviewed at a typical retail job. It is a small business, so I was surprised when they were hiring for $20+ an hour. I thought it was too good to be true but applied anyway.
I get an interview, which I'm happy about. I go to said interview and ask about the pay, to which I am baffled. They said they'd be willing to pay $16 an hour given my experience (~2 years, where I was being paid $15…).
I just walked out. Didn't even say anything after that because I was so pissed. Ugh I hate this.
I might be jobless in the next few weeks if I don't nail this next job interview.
