If my boss fires me because I’m sick, do I have a case?

So severe burnout triggered a massive flare in my neurological condition (misdiagnosed at first, working on a correct diagnosis) last year and I ended up on medical leave after struggling through it for two months. Forced to come back without finishing treatment because of insurance after three months. The past two months back have been a massive struggle with me barely able to keep up. Boss called this morning about putting me at part time to “help” me (it would help but losing benefits/pay would screw me over). I could tell they want to fire me but is hesitant. Got a lot of waffle about running a small business and needing reliable people. I’m like the only full time employee as they rely on consultants and outsourcing for most stuff. I offered to go to part time IF I get paid market rate (like a $17/hr increase) since I’m underpaid…

If she does, since it would partially be because of potential disability, do I have any legal protection?
