Came for an interview but it was a trial day… I left

I was supposed to have an interview yesterday at 9:00 and I was told I could stay right after to see the work environment and have a short trial day until 15:00. As I arrived, the person interviewing me sat me down in her office to tell me that the interview would be from 14:00 to 15:00 because some staff was sick and the two apprentices needed to be supervised by her, the only person with a certification in the building. Do I have “STUPID” written on my forehead? You want 5 hour of free labor out of me only for me to find out your pay and benefit suck? Made me wonder if they use people that are looking for a job as a replacement for sick or absent staff as a routine.
