Back about 6 months ago, I interviewed with a company 3 times. They all went well, but due to market concerns the company went on a hiring freeze which I totally understood. They said when it ended they’d reach out to me as they were really impressed with my interviews and said I’d be a great fit. About a month ago, they followed up with me and brought me in to talk. They said they want to offer me a position and would be in touch shortly. Almost a month has gone by and I haven’t heard a thing. I’m employed full time and didn’t really need that job at this point, so I’m not chasing it. I’m just really confused why they’d come to me and then vanish
