Every time I job hunt I always see jobs that ask for people who are fluent in both English and another language, usually Spanish, but they offer $15 $16 and hour. It’s completely absurd because ask anyone who is bilingual, it’s not easy to know 2 languages, most of the time one of them is slipping a bit behind. It’s also very hard to try and switch back between 2 languages and translate. They are asking for a special skill like that, but pay minimum wage.
