The pizza party that never was.

To this day I still think about this job I had years ago working for this company that basically foreclosed houses on individuals who didn't pay their HOA fees. At one point, you could kind of see the writing on the wall that the company was pretty much going under, but as a last ditch effort, they asked us all to work overtime on a weekend. The promise you ask for this overtime work, a pizza party! So we did the overtime on both Saturday and Sunday, come to find out money, there was no pizza party, because we were all told we would be laid off at the end of the week. It's been years, and I moved on to being a teacher, but I still think about that pizza party…. That never was.
