My job has been having trouble making payroll. I waited 11 days past the actual pay date for my last paycheck, and I'm having to wait again for this most recent paycheck (idk how long this will be). I have had my hours cut in half, and this is my last full paycheck before that takes effect. I'm pretty sure the company is circling the drain, and have been throwing my resume out as much as possible for the past few months, with no bites. Do I contact a labor lawyer? Do I file a report with the department of labor? I'm barely hanging on financially as it is, but this delay in pay is causing issues with paying my bills on time.
