I am once again a victim of outsourcing. Once again losing my seniority, title, hard earned reputation, and will be forced to yet once again prove my worth and reestablish myself at a new company.
In my adult life, I’ve only had two real jobs. (Beside my fitness career and youth jobs) I’ve been loyal and stable in my work, but this tech field is always in danger for outsourcing. My experience with interviewing and going through that process is limited and I don’t much enjoy it.
All that being said, this subReddit has helped me as the impending day of my unemployment looms. The stories and advice I see so many others receive give me courage and tell me, “You don’t really have to take crap! If the job sucks, move on.” So, thanks!
