A couple months ago a finally quit by toxic job. It was sad because at the beginning I loved the job. I actually enjoyed going to work.
Then the true colours of the manager showed and she was truly mentally unstable.
After being bullied relentlessly by a woman twice my age infront of staff and guests, and nothing being done until a meeting with the 3 of us where half assed apologies were dishes…
I quit.
The boss smirked, literally smirked, and told me she knew I didn't care about the job. She argued with me then I said, word for word.
” Manager, go fvck yourself.”
And walked out.
Truly felt liberating.
