To start I am both extremely hurt and upset with this so be kind to me i am a sensitive little boy.
When I took over as gm of the small local restaurant I work at a lot was thrust onto me.
But the main issue here is the social media.
I took over as being solely responsible for our SM on all platforms and worked hard to build a following as well as a high level of feedback and engagement.
It has gotten to a point that people specifically tell me they come into my store because of my posts (which is literally the point but it shows its working)
So over the course of hundreds of posts and videos today the owner decided that he is going to outsource all the SM to a random woman in the Philippines.
I only found this out when I had messaged him about a random horribly worded post that I had fixed and made into a passable post.
After learning he did this I removed myself from all socials and told everyone I know what had happened and that I would no longer be posting.
All my work is gone. Wasted on someone who clearly saw no value in what I provided.
I'm sad.
