So I work in HR at a drug addiction treatment facility, I actually love my job. It's a great company that is a true gem. I've worked at two other rehabs and this one is legitimately wonderful.
I had a funny situation recently where I was on vacation so my supervisor was overseeing what I usually do. We were terminating an employee that called out 3 times in a month and then no called no showed. Let's call her X.
My supervisor was starting a group chat to discuss the termination and added the two managers of that department. She then meant to add me, but had a brain freeze and she ADDED X TO THE GROUP CHAT!
So she sends the message “we are terminating X. She has violated company attendance policy, she has subpar performance, and attitude issues that create a dramatic workplace,” etc.
And they message back and forth until X responds. Her response had me dying. She said, “yeah honestly true lol” and didn't realize she wasn't meant to be in the group chat! She said “I got 3 jobs anyways I'm gucci!”
This whole interaction is fucking comedy gold to me
