My mother called for a job in my stead
I (M19) have been unemployed for about a year now. I’ve been applying everywhere i can reach without my own car and still no luck. I let it slip to my mom that I had done a video at Target. Those interviews are completely automated with not even a real human asking you the questions. Ive called the target before and the hiring manager said that they dont do in person interviews. One morning before Im fully awake my mom comes to me and shoves a phone in my fave saying its an HR person from target and to talk to them. I told them the video interviews situation and they said to just wait for an email. Im worried that because my mom doesn’t speak good english, the hiring manager might have felt it was unprofessional and that he wouldn’t want to hire someone whos mom does everything for them.
