I am a truck driver in Ontario, Canada. I just took a job that I can walk to and gave my employer notice. The thing is, I was about to transition from one type of truck to another, and was about to start training. My old truck has a new driver training on it. I gave notice today, and because I'm in truck limbo, they offered me a night shift trainer position for my last two weeks. I have been doing days since I started. This situation seems really odd and I'm thinking of just handing in my keys and ending the relationship. Thoughts?
