Nepotism/Favoritism in retail sales?

Hi, I(24M) work sales for a major nationwide furniture company and typically, we are paid either hourly or commission if you end up making more than your hours worked. The major issue with this is that the location of the store you work at is by far the largest factor in terms of making good money and it seems like no matter what I do or how good I perform I never get opportunities to work in the high volume stores. It’s an easy enough job and it’s almost always dead at the stores I work at so I usually make hourly, ending up with about 43k a year. The guys at the store in the bordering tax free state 15 minutes away make 100k+. The one or two times ive covered these stores the customers practically hand you their money and the salesmen are treated like gods by upper management. I’ve been at one of the most dead stores in the district for about 2 years now with little opportunity to work at the busy stores, besides 1 or 2 weekday shifts where I’m covering. Earlier this year, a manager at one of the better stores brought in his nephew to the company, who out of the gate began working at the 2nd best store and is now a “top performer”, his friend also getting hired and put in a decent volume store. One of my other coworkers, who worked at the same store as me, was also moved to a high volume store despite having equal or worse numbers than me every month. Funnily enough, his uncle is also a manager. I was told the store I was at is for newer people and you get moved based on performance but that has not been the case once, in fact multiple newer people, one of them being somebody’s wife are constantly getting placed in the high traffic stores. Does anyone have a similar experience? I genuinely don’t know what to do and I’m constantly stressed over being blamed and put on performance plans for low numbers when I hardly get customers to begin with, district managers etc doing nothing to help but give generic sales advice and stories of how they once performed well at this store. I have talked to them about it but I don’t really get much other than generic sales jargon answers or I’ll get to work at another equally dead store. Any advice?
