Just got fired for jokingly telling a customer not to say ‘I guess it’s free’ when something wouldn’t scan. He called and lied that I cussed him out. Boss wouldn’t believe me.

If you make these jokes to cashiers just know that we've heard that joke 50 million times. I'm not going to stop telling people to stop being annoying to cashiers.
