Not to get into many details, but I recently was hired by this company that apparently isn't licensed to be doing what they are doing. Their whole catch is, their market is international and they are not located in the country their clients are in. I work in sales department.
I just realized recently that they don't have an actual license that they claim to have, in order to provide services/products they provide. Or maybe they actually do have it, but it's definitely not international.
This is definitely not a scam or fraud, everything is operating pretty well and honestly. Clients are happy. But the license is missing, or even if it exists, it is not relevant to the countries company works in.
I am paid well, and especially during taught economical times in my life, don't really wanna quit. But I wanna know, if shit hits the fan, do the workers of the company get legal action against them too? I was told initially that they have license to do what they do. They told me what they need me to do, and I did that.
