Every time I see a “Personality Index survey,” I immediately close the application. Corporate astrology should be illegal.

Research has shown that most of these tests are inaccurate, but for some reason hiring managers still request them like they have some knack for deciphering a persons traits through a 10 minute survey. It’s bullshit, I had an interviewer tell me that even though I matched the qualifications and requirements for the job, the results of their personality test suggested I would be better in a different position. Fuck them, I’m not playing those games
