I put in my two weeks notice a week ago to leave this hell hole of a workplace, and my boss was interviewing someone for my position in the office today in the same area that I work in. I initially went on my break for 30 minutes since we can go whenever and I don’t want to be there for it. When I came back she waited until I was in the washroom and started banging on the door. When I came out she asked me repeatedly if I’m okay and asking what’s wrong with me, to which I said I don’t understand what you mean. When I tried to open the door to go back to my desk she pushed it close. She asked me again I said I’m not feeling well and walked out of the other door in the hallway where she cornered me (I have PTSD from prior assault and this instantly started to give me a panic attack).
My boss wanted to make sure nothing seemed strange to the interviewee, and me leaving my desk upset my boss enough to physically intimidate me. FUCK HER!
They can’t keep employees because she’s verbally, emotionally and physically abusive.
