I (27,F) work in editing and recently ive been tinkering with AI and the like. I freelance but Im partnered with bigger companies to get work from them. My SO occassionally does some odd editing chores for me or these partners because she is unemployed atm.
A few days ago I found a way to make my job quicker by using chatgpt and I was very happy about the time it saves me until I realised the chat gpt output would effectively deal with all the leftover chores I had my SO do for me or the company some extra cash. If the big company realised it then I would not be able to ask to get my SO assigned work anymore. So, as any decent human being would do I shut my mouth about it and was glad I didnt have time to enthusiastically tell my company partners (or my SO) about this perfect new solution that could f*ck my partner (and some others) out of a job. Might not be six figures were making but damned if I ruin it…
