How do you deal with a boss that plays favorites? I think my boss is digging a hole for themselves playing favorites with two people. Both whom they wants to promote to management positions in a couple of years. One of them is just lazy but is convincing enough on fooling only my boss into thinking they’re amazing ( everyone else knows that they are lazy). The second person is only now learning technology and I try to step in a help them a lot.
Boss gives into both their demands while I ask for something reasonable it is rejected.
Boss has a team of 25 people and everyone notices this as well.
Should I start looking for a new job. I feel as though I’m not valued and I feel that these two can get away with doing nothing and move forward. While I stay stagnant even after working hard.
