Not really sure what I should do or advise my father to do. He is elderly and works a low skilled restaurant job in Texas. He hurt his shoulder and was on workers comp earning 60% of his salary for three months. Now doctor cleared him to go back to the workplace but said he can’t perform the same type of tasks he was doing before.
He told his employer he is ready to work and showed him the doctors orders. Now they aren’t putting him on the schedule and aren’t returning his calls even though they definitely have jobs he can do and they pay the same.
What’s to be done? Apologies if this is the wrong sub.
