Hi all. I'm asking this question because for me it's not only mentally draining, but physically draining working a typical 8 to 9 hour shift 5 day a week position. My body can't handle it even after years of trying to atune myself to this schedule, not to mention barely have time for myself or my family.
I figure, if I can work fewer days, and still earn enough as the typical 9 to 5 (Even a little less is fine), I'm totally fine with that as this would give me more time for my family, personal hobby's, or leisure. I did some research but it seems the 12 hour to 3 day schedules are typically in the hospitality field (I don't have any qualifications for this), and possibly warehouse distribution centers/factories (although I've read that most of them have seasons where you'll be working 5, or even 6 days a week 12 hour days for months and even for up to half the year).
So my question is, are there any jobs out there that line up to the 12 by 3 schedule without being too physically demanding, and actually respect that schedule without mandatory overtime and schedule shifts? A point in the right direction would be very helpful.
