I've been working pretty strenuous jobs since I've been able to work. I don't want to remain inside this cycle of busting ass for years, under appreciated and under paid. I worked at a hemp farm for 3 years as an “intern” and I loved it. I wasn't even being paid and I loved it more than any job that has paid me. I want to start my own hemp/marijuana farm in MN now that it's legalized. But to start something like this I'd need land and a lot of money. I haven't gone into a bank to see what it would take to get a loan because I'm afraid of the inevitable “you're too young, nothing for collateral for a loan that size”. How do I go about achieving this goal. I've considered many other options such as investors and possibly a go fund me. I don't want hand outs which prevents me to going the go fund me route, and being 24 makes me “inexperienced”.
Any advice would be appreciated. I'm sure what I have is a Longshot dream but I want to work in that industry without the hassle of being under paid and under appreciated.
