I work for a very big hop company which provides extract to all of the most known beer companies. We got laid off for 1+ months She to the slow season. We are due to start again within the next couple weeks.
I am currently in a different state until the 22nd. How do I handle the situation if they want me to come sooner?
I was notified the warehouse will open between the 14th & the 28th with no certainty of keeping my day shift as I may be switched to swing or graveyard.
I really don’t want to lose my good paying job, but am very nervous because I haven’t heard anything and the 14th is coming quick.
