Antiwork

Just a thought that I hope blossoms in your head and everyone else’s..

When you choose to work for a certain wage. That’s based on the “market rate” for that particular job.. Businesses collide on what this amount should be by looking around at other similar companies and offer the same rate for those positions. No thought required. That being said, I work in real estate where “market rates” are determined by what another “Landlord” in the area with a similar unit will charge for that monthly. It’s a pretty similar concept. The only difference is the cost of those apartments has skyrocketed since 2020. Wages… not so much.. Hence why I feel like politicians don’t like getting involved with this stuff because we control the price of our “service”. Even the damn price of services you use is way up.. Nothing happens until we all make them stop playing with us. Stop accepting min wage. Stop letting your little sisters/ brothers/ cousins…

Stop accepting min wage.
Stop letting your little sisters/ brothers/ cousins work at McDonald’s for minimum wage. Drill into their heads that these companies can pay and often don’t..

I worked in a 24 hr McDonald’s once for about 2 months and the manager was stupid enough to put the cost for employees on the board. At that time another MCD was doing construction so all the employees had moved to this store temporarily.

So about 60 something employees in general.

The cost of labor was 7%…

7% of their revenue..

Let that sink in..

Also worked at Dos Toros in the city as well and after having some high level conversations with the GM this was the same case but theirs was lower at around 5% with less employees.

For reference this is in NYC.

Please stop taking those shitty job offers which will force them to pay more for those positions.

And do this shit before robots take all of these jobs!

Make this promise to me.

That’s it.
