COVID in 2023

So let me start off by saying my job as a whole is pretty damn good besides little things here and there. My issue currently is that two of my colleagues tested postive for covid-19 yesterday. My company is not sending them home and is forcing me to work with them all day indoors because I don’t have any time off left to go home for the day. Therefore putting me at risk of getting sick then bringing it home to my family. They said if I left, I would be written up due to not having enough time left to leave. Can they really force me to stay here and work with people who have told them they have COVID-19? They said they cannot send them home due to our company’s policy. I’m in Florida so I know that can be a bad thing regarding Covid policies but I figured I’d ask here and see if you amazing people could help me figure this out before I reach out to HR to clarify and get painted as the black sheep.

TL:DR – im being forced to work with two colleagues who are sick with Covid-19, indoors.
