I have not been terminated from employment since I was 18 years old. I am currently 46 and I just obtained a position with a local restaurant who, on the last 10 years have closed multiple locations due to not margining a profit.
I was in the 6 week training program and they suspended me yesterday, pending an HR investigation due to me uavong a Marijuana vape. I have the most painful condition known to man called Trigeminal Neuralgia,as well as my medical marijuana card,HOWEVER,I don't even like to use it and it truly is for acute pain and I only use it when absolutely desperate.
I am also on an array 9f other medications and actually use a cosmetic bag with a strap to hold my 10 medications. My vape was in my bad and I placed the bag in the GMs office. Well, yesterday,I was called to the back dining room where the district manager was and was informed that they're “suspedong me” until the HR investigation is complete I NEVER let one person know thay I had a vape, however, after coming home and going through the employee handbook, it firmly stated that the company has the right to go through personal belongings.
I was literally not even on training but 1 week last Friday.
Also, after being on Indeed, I came across MY POSITION that was posted EIGHT days ago which would have literally beeny second or third day on training.
I did get another position today and I also have 2 more interviews scheduled for tomorrow but I feel so jacked off!
I am ALWAYS accountable for when I screw up, but I just cannot get over this!
