Hired to be a data manager but have only been given secretarial tasks and don't have access to large portions of data after 3 months. Also, learned on day one that the job was filled by a second person, in addition to myself. What scheme is this? Are they hoping one of us quits? Are they acting like there's tons of work to do to justify how “busy” they are but really there isn't much and we're supposed to pretend too? Or, am I/are we being strung along for failure and at what point can I ask, and how, if I'm being set up for success?
