I’m 20m just getting my start in the workplace I started working at a local small town grocery store and this post is going to be very long so I’ll try to keep it as short as possible
Since I started working there (over a year ago), there’s been a lot of shit that’s gone on where I’ve raised my eyebrow I’ll start with the little things. Only managers, deli, and meat department are full time. There are no grocery hours (except management) that are full time. Secondly there is a manager who has been embezzling money from the office for over a year which has led to hours being cut (from part-time employees thirdly the manager of the meat department has been repackaging old meat, and putting rotten meat out on the shelves and selling it since I’ve been working there. But that’s not just the end of it. He also has sexually harassed multiple women who work there, as well as demeaning, and lying about other co-workers calling them thieves. This person has had there job for over three years and hasn’t so much as gotten a write-up. Yesterday this person went out in the parking lot to another employees car and harassed him trying to start a fight. Well today he said something from everything I can gather “wayyyyyy out of pocket” to this employee then the other manager while on the clock beat the living shit out of the meat manager. Which believe me when I tell you the employees that I work with regularly, have dreamed about this day for a long time. I’m not one for violence but that guy had it coming for a full 365 days. Anywho who do I talk to about getting my store investigated for the shady shit that’s been going on at my workplace because I know damn well corporate has known about all this and more and has not done anything about it.
