To give a brief overview of my experience with this company, they’ve been bullying me since day 1. The first supervisor I had would get annoyed at me if I had any questions for her & ignore me. Then she would lash out at me via email (and cc her boss so he could witness the lashing) when I inevitably did something incorrectly. Barely any training. You were just kind of thrown into things with no knowledge on the matter and you were expected to just figure it out somehow.
That went on for 6 months until I started asking her for help in email communication so that I could document my experiences with her. Once I started using those against her, she realized she wasn’t going to win. Basically any time I had a question I would email her and keep a copy of that email in a separate folder. Then, when I did something wrong or just ignored something and got yelled at for it, I could go searching in my folder of evidence of her ignoring me on the subject in question, attach it to my response to her and say something along the lines of “I would love to respond to this customer and take care of them! Do you mind reviewing the attached email communication and answer the questions I had previously asked you regarding this customer and this situation?” And then I’d get no answer again. She started to catch on that this was going to be how I was going to handle things. I was eventually moved to another department by her bosses boss.
The bullying stopped in the new department, FOR ME. My coworkers around me were getting bullied and I would emotionally support them however I could. One of them ended up eventually having enough and blew up and got fired. They asked me to fill her position and I declined.
I tried to reach out to ask for a review a month ago and got ignored. After that I’ve disconnected pretty much entirely, stopped doing much, etc. yesterday I got fired.
Am I wrong to feel relieved?
