Boss tried to fire me today because of my upcoming surgery and I might just quit tomorrow

I started this job in May with the explicit written agreement that I was going to get married in September, had plans for a two week honeymoon shortly after (no set dates at that time), and would go to my sister's wedding in November. My boss agreed to all this in writing. About a month ago I found out I need to have surgery. Although it isn't urgent, it would solve my health issues that I've dragged for many years and that interfere with my day to day life. Plus, I can't start a family without this surgery. About a month ago I found out I need to have surgery. Although it isn't urgent, it would solve my health issues that I've dragged for many years and that interfere with my day to day life. Plus, I can't start a family without this surgery.

A couple weeks ago we booked our tickets for the honeymoon and they're immediately after the wedding because it was the most affordable date to travel and it's the only date that fits with the surgery preparation and recovery time.

My boss contacted hr and said she'd never agreed to me going on a honeymoon and the three of us had a big meeting about this today. They both pushed me and made it seem like I was being misleading by not originally reserving a date for my honeymoon. My HR manager said multiple times she would not talk about my surgery because the law protects me but I wasn't trying to bring it up so I thought it was weird.

Later I ran into her and she invited me to have lunch with her “without her HR hat on”. She said my boss had been trying to move my surgery and honeymoon because the dates I picked were not convenient for her.

I feel like I've had it with my boss and I want to go on to work tomorrow, pack my stuff and go. My fiance told me to do so because I owe them nothing, but I hate the idea of not getting an income. He can cover for us both but he gives me conflicting comments about quitting because he misses the happy me, but at othrr times says i put him in a financial hardship if i do that. I know we're fine financially but it felt good seeing money in my bank account again and being able to pay for my own expenses related to the wedding and day to day.

Should I just quit because of this dead end job and toxic boss?
