People who have to leave home for work, what are your mornings like?

I want to know how other people who have to leave their house every work day to report in-person somewhere spend their mornings? Please no people who work from home or on their own property (or other weird loopholes) I have to report to my job site by 8am and work to between 4-5pm. I wake up in the morning 6:15 in the am but don't get out of bed til 6:30ish (a bit later if I'm spending the night with my partner and we cuddle in the mornings) because it takes me a little to actually wake up. I'll then spend 10-15 minutes in the bathroom getting ready and getting changed. Normally I lay my clothes out for the day the night before but sometimes ya just forget, or it's 11pm before I actually get into my bedroom for the day and i just don't have the mental capacity…

I have to report to my job site by 8am and work to between 4-5pm.

Normally I lay my clothes out for the day the night before but sometimes ya just forget, or it's 11pm before I actually get into my bedroom for the day and i just don't have the mental capacity for it.

I'll then spend whatever time I have left until 7am getting my lunch and breakfast and supplies for the day (have equipment I need to take out of my vehicle and put back in every morning) ready. Again most days I prep my lunch and morning protein drink the night before but not always. If I don't leave by 7:10am I'm stuck in traffic and running a few minutes late. Then I'm at work to start the day.

So it's go go go from the moment I get out of bed. All my life media made it seem people had time in the mornings for a nice breakfast and sitting around with coffee and just Time. Then they just pop over to work. I know that 50min is a long commute, but it's not even that far of a distance. It's just congestion and traffic. I've considered moving to a less congested area, but my work is in construction and environmental monitoring and all of that work that is reliable takes place in heavy metropolitan areas or around. We send people all over the country from here on the east coast cause there arnt companies that do our work out in the middle of the country.

So, what do you do with your mornings.
