My boss doesn’t like me but his boss does (but he’s toxic too)

A person I know hired me after I was laid off. The job pays good but he is very toxic. I think knowing this he made someone else my boss But this person didn’t hire me and doesn’t want me. I don’t know what I’m saying or asking for but this is another clear example of work sucking ass
